How monemo handles app data.
This policy describes the V1 version of monemo. monemo is built as an offline-first app, and the backend is used only for limited operational features.
Data stored on your device
- Notes, handwriting, tasks, habits, folders, and local OCR results are primarily stored on your device.
- monemo V1 does not provide a monemo account system or cloud backup service.
Data sent to monemo servers
- Feedback you submit may include your message, optional contact information, app version, and diagnostic metadata.
- OCR diagnostic logs may include OCR engine name, recognized text, timing, app version, and device metadata when debugging is enabled.
- Purchase verification requests may include App Store product and transaction identifiers needed to check entitlement status.
Third-party services
- Payments and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store.
- Server hosting and operational infrastructure are provided by cloud hosting providers.
Contact and deletion requests
- You can contact monemo support through the app feedback entry or the support page.
- If you request deletion of server-side feedback or diagnostic records, include enough detail for us to locate the record.
